Gummy and Chocolate Depositing Machine for Small to Medium Production

The Rhino-Pak Semi Automatic Gummy and Chocolate Depositing Machine fills moulds accurately and consistently. It is built for confectionery makers who have outgrown hand pouring but don’t yet need a full production line. Ten depositing nozzles fill a row of mould cavities in a single stroke, so every gummy or chocolate comes out the same size, shape and weight.

The machine is compact, at about 700 × 700 × 780 mm, so it fits in a small production room, a commercial kitchen or a development lab. It runs on a standard 220V supply.

What Can You Make With It?

The heated 12 L hopper keeps your mixture fluid and workable, so the machine handles a wide range of confectionery:

  • Gelatin gummies and jelly sweets
  • Pectin gummies, including vegan and halaal formulations
  • Vitamin and nutritional supplement gummies
  • Solid moulded chocolates and chocolate pieces
  • Other soft confectionery deposited into moulds

Because the hopper temperature can go up to 130°C, you can set it to suit each product. Gummy mixtures need different handling from chocolate, and one machine covers both.

How the Depositing Process Works

  1. Prepare your mixture. Cook your gummy or melt your chocolate as normal.
  2. Load the hopper. Pour the prepared mixture into the heated hopper, which holds it at your set temperature.
  3. Position the mould. Place the mould tray under the nozzles.
  4. Deposit. The machine deposits a measured amount through all ten nozzles at once, at roughly 30 to 60 strokes per minute.
  5. Set and demould. Leave the filled moulds to cool and set, then release the finished product for packing.

Each stroke fills ten cavities, so output is roughly 300 to 600 pieces per minute. Actual output depends on your product, piece size and mould layout.

Key Features

  • 10 depositing nozzles: fill ten cavities per stroke, with nozzle count customisable to your mould layout
  • Heated hopper: holds about 12 L at temperatures up to 130°C, keeping your mixture at a consistent depositing temperature
  • Adjustable speed: approximately 30 to 60 deposits per minute to match your product and production pace
  • 304 stainless steel construction: a food-grade finish that is hygienic and easy to clean between batches
  • Compact footprint: about 74 kg and less than a metre square, so it is easy to place and move
  • Dual voltage: runs on 220V or 110V, 50–60Hz, at 2.5 kW total power

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the machine deposit both gummies and chocolate?

Yes. The hopper’s adjustable temperature, up to 130°C, means one machine can handle gelatin and pectin gummy mixtures as well as chocolate.

How many pieces can it produce per hour?

With ten nozzles at 30 to 60 deposits per minute, output is roughly 18,000 to 36,000 pieces per hour. The exact figure depends on your product and mould.

Can the number of nozzles be changed?

Yes. The nozzle count can be customised to suit your mould layout. Discuss your requirements with our team.

Is the machine food safe?

The machine is built from 304 stainless steel, a food-grade material that is easy to clean between production runs.
