Additional Information

The Rhino-Pak fully automatic monoblock rinsing, filling and capping machine combines three bottling stages in one machine. It has 8 rinsing heads, 8 filling heads and 3 capping heads, which is why it is known as an 8-8-3 or 883 monoblock. Bottles are rinsed, filled and capped without leaving the machine. That keeps them closed off between steps, cuts handling and labour, and takes up far less floor space than three separate machines.

It suits producers moving from semi-automatic filling to a fully automatic bottling line. It is also a fit for growing operations that need consistent output of around 2,000 bottles an hour on 500ml bottles.

How the 3-in-1 Monoblock Works

  1. Rinsing (8 heads)
Each bottle is gripped by the neck, inverted and rinsed before filling, so it enters the filler clean.
  2. Filling (8 heads)
Eight filling valves fill bottles on a rotary carousel, giving an even fill level from bottle to bottle at production speed.
  3. Capping (3 heads)
Three capping heads apply and tighten screw caps straight after filling, sealing each bottle before it leaves the machine.

Because all three stages run in one synchronised, rotary frame, the line runs continuously rather than stop-start. That is the main advantage of a monoblock bottling machine over separate rinsing, filling and capping units.

What Can It Bottle?

This automatic bottle rinsing, filling and capping machine is built for free-flowing liquids, including:

  • Still water: spring, mineral and purified
  • Fruit juices and still soft drinks
  • Other thin, free-flowing liquids

It is not suited to thick products like sauces, pastes or gels. For those, see our Liquid and Paste Bottle Filling Machines and the RP 2000 Production Line.

Why Choose a Monoblock Bottling Machine?

  • Less floor space. One 2.1m × 1.5m frame replaces three standalone machines and the conveyors between them.
  • Better hygiene. Bottles move from rinse to fill to cap without open exposure on a conveyor.
  • Lower labour. One operator can run the full rinsing, filling and capping process.
  • Consistent output. Synchronised rotary stations keep speed and fill levels steady across a shift.
  • Durable build. 304 stainless steel construction for food and beverage environments.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a monoblock rinsing, filling and capping machine?
It is a 3-in-1 bottling machine that rinses, fills and caps bottles in one continuous process. It replaces three separate machines with a single compact unit.

What does 8-8-3 (883) mean on a monoblock?
It is the head count for each stage: 8 rinsing heads, 8 filling heads and 3 capping heads. More heads mean higher output.

How many bottles per hour does this monoblock produce?
Up to 2,000 bottles per hour on 500ml bottles. Larger bottles fill more slowly, so output on 1L or 2L bottles will be lower.

What liquids can this monoblock bottling machine fill?
Thin, free-flowing liquids such as still water, juice and still soft drinks. Thick products like sauces and pastes need a piston filler.

Can one machine run different bottle sizes?
Yes, within the 150 – 340mm height range. Changing bottle size requires change parts.

What else do I need for a complete bottling line?
Typically conveyors, a labeller, a date coder and a shrink wrapper. Some producers also need a water treatment system or bottle supply. Rhino-Pak can quote the full line.

How much does a monoblock rinsing, filling and capping machine cost?
Pricing depends on configuration, change parts and the rest of the line. Contact Rhino-Pak for a quote, and ask about financing.
